I, like a lot of other voters, got an e-mail from Rand Paul asking me to sign a "Republican Principles" decree. After reading the decree I decided that I needed to let Mr. Paul know that I was less than impressed. In a return mail I informed him that using the same message that those congress-critters that now have the majority in both houses was a bad idea. They promised to defund Obama-care and then fully funded it. They promised to unfund the TSA and proceeded to fully fund it. They vowed that they were against common core education but, you guessed it, they fully funded it too.

I expressed my belief that the Democrats and Republicans were working together to make USA stand for "United Socialist Amerika" and that that belief changed my voting habbits to the Libertarian Party ten years ago. I told him that when and if the Republican party actually reduced the size of the federal government, did away with the DHS,TSA, the patriot act and actually protected individual rights, liberties and freedoms I would consider returning to the republican party. Until then I will continue to vote Libertarian.

I am waiting (not holding my breath) for a reply.

As I said, I'm not holding my breath. I haven't received a follow up email yet so I doubt that I will. (even more than when I sent it.)
