Black is best,
I hate the smell of Federal, just a different pong to others (in 12g)
Just adding that the black also gives me my own special aroma therapy that I like to share

Ah the smell of cordite and JP-8 in the early morning..................that's what Tankers live for.

remember the old paper cased blue star shot shells...if I close my eyes the scent comes back.
