I heard this a couple years back & found it quite striking:

Hmmmmm.......

Cathy called me and woke me up and told me to turn on the TV because someone crashed a airplane into the WTC tower. I said WOW! Hung up and turned on the TV and watched the second plane smash in. Then called my mom and dad and asked them what they were doing(figuring dad would be loading the guns) they were having breakfast. I told him: " You need to turn on the TV." HE watched for a bit and then said I gotta go.

The rest unfolded as it did like everyone else saw. To this day I have NO DESIRE TO WATCH the specials on it. I remember full well what happened.
