My bad, I couldn't resist. I could just envision and newcomer to the forum logging in and reading a post about a reload measuring to see if his bullets grew any. They definitely would have thought we were "HuntingNuts"!

Looking at the pic, were these all fired in your gun only?? The reason I ask is some cases have markings at the neck and taper and some don't have any!!

Omini, good question! I have two .260s so they may have been fired in either gun, I honestly can't remember. Cases were full length sized before loading though.

The marks on the neck look like die marks from resizing.

I did that with some 3006 rounds once and had to buy a 50 caliber rifle to shoot the darn things - they really grow with the right "fertilizer" water and sunlight.
(speaking of "fertilizer"...

Les, its been a bit since we met in Charlotte! Couple of years maybe? And my whiskers sure have grayed up on me! I'm not sure if its due to worrying about growing bullets or growing govt...
BTW, there is another show in Charlotte Feb. 18-19. Any HuntingNuts interested in meeting there?

Slinger, that sounds like a great idea and I will plan on meeting you there allowing I can walk that day. If I can't I will let you know as soon as possible.
