For the past few weeks I have been testing and using a new system that replaces using 209 primers in my in-line rifles. I have 2 in-lines, a Traditions Buckhunter .54 and a CVA Mag Hunter Bolt in .50. I had heard, read and experienced problems with using 209 primers. The 209 primer is a very powerful primer and with loose fitting projectiles they can actually push the bullet forward at the moment of ignition and cause all kinds of problems.
The recent forum thread on 209s & 777 illustrate some other problems.
What I am using, with fantastic results is the VariFlame Adaptor from BP Bullets. Click on link.

I have ordered additional adaptors and will not be using 209s again. My confidence and the accuracy of both of my rifles has never been better.
Read the information and please consider this product, I know if you get it youalso will never go back to 209s.
