Doctors more dangerous than Gun Owners ??

Yes , according to the American Medical Association and the FBI ..
The following information comes from the AMA itself :

1) there are 700,000 doctors practicing in the US
2) there are 120,000 accidental deaths in the US caused by doctors each year
3) the accidental death rate for doctors is a whopping 17.14% per physician

Now , according to the FBI :

1) there are 80 million gun owners in the US
2) there are 1500 accidental deaths per year attributed to firearms accidents
3) the accidental death rate for gun owners is a whopping .001875 % per gun owner ( less than .002 of one percent )

Or put another way , there is one accidental death for every 5.83 doctors
and one accidental death for every 53,333 gun owners ..

That's easy to fix...Beings as how we have registered doctors (and in the USSRofC, guns) let's outlaw doctors...Everyone turn in your doctor for a re-imbursment of equal value...set forth by the government, of course... Very Happy
