Over the weekend, Sydney Oztralia were pelted by torrential rain.
Some suburbs got more than 200mm in 24 hours and an average of 120mm all around.

Looks like the girl la nina is behaving badly around here nowadays.

Wow, when it rains it pours! El Nino, La Nina - I can't keep them straight. Guess, one affects your side of the Pacific Rim and the other our side. I hope it stops soon.

We are getting a bit of rain again aswell Gelan...although not quite that much.

Slim...I think them two gals swap back and forth just to annoy us and get maximum fun outa toyin' with our weather patterns.

Well after 3 droughts in a row we are fairly moist here in NZ (also a bit shaken up I might add) but I got mates who are Cow Cockies (dairy farmers) who are literally singing in the rain. Their expected payout is about $8.50 / Kg milk solids which for most farmers is a cool $500K before costs.

Yep it's raining again today!
