WildHorse, LOL! Good point, I don't speak Pakistani either! In VA, near DC, I had to find someone who spoke English so I could get a room.

Knowing the English language should be mandatory to become a citizen here and, if they're just visiting they should provide thier own interpreter.

Because He wants us to be able to learn how to solve problems and learn to grow. We need to learn to love all of our fellow man as His Son did.

Of course that doesn't mean we need to open up our country and give it away. What we need to do is learn to continue to make it grow as our parents and grandparents did. If you go back far enough you find that pretty much everyone here is a result of immigration. In my grandmother's case she came though Ellis Island LEGALLY. She worked hard and raised her daughter through the Great Depression. What makes today harder in Mexico than the Dust Bowl here was in the early 1930s? Stay in Mexico and learn to make it grow just like our ancestors did with this country!

If you come here illegally I don't see why you get to take advantage of our rights. This is OUR country. Make your own damned country work. Immigration is a war. We need to stop taking so many prisoners and start making more casualties.

too bad the ones who came here in 1100s to 1800s didnt follow your advice. we said the same thing its OUR country go back to europe and make it work.

I'm gettin' in this conversation a bit late and it seems that everything's already been said. My opinion is short and sweet. 1) What's happened in the past can't be changed. 2) Immigration is one thing, and an invasion mandates a military response. Where in the hell are our leaders!!!!!! They wonder why we hold our noses to vote.
