I don't want to say how many I have (you never know who's listening), but it's probably more than most people. My wife want's me to buy more and more ammo. She's a hard core survivalist. Needless to say, we don't call 911.
For every uninvited person out there listening, I don't own a single one. HeHe.

Here's something to think about. My wife just got an email from the military (she works as a contractor) that had a list of hate groups that was provided to them by an activist group. She was madder than heck that they had listed the Border Guardians as a hate group.
Here's some of the numbers of hate groups listed by state:
Texas = 55
Iowa =4
Missouri = 23
Alaska =1
Montana = 5
New York = 24
New Jersey = 34
California = 63
Nebraska = 4
Idaho = 7
What I think is funny, you always hear on the liberal news media about the radical militia groups in Montana and the rest of the west. These groups strike fear in the hearts of civilized metro-sexuals. Heck, they can't hold a candle to the east and west coasts. Could it be that the western states (excluding California) are full of civilized people? If I'm correct, these were red states in the last two elections.

It's really going to get interesting now. For Hillary to beat Obama, the dirt's going to have to fly. The Clintons accused Obama of corruption and it worked in Texas and Ohio (Of course they don't want to admit that the Republican votes for Hillary might have had something to do with the outcome). About half of my conservative friends and workmates voted for Hillary. It is fun watching them tear each other to pieces.

There is also the idea that the dumocraps bury their wounded, so if McCain wins election that is two liberals out of the competition!!!!!
I was in water pollution control for many years and wonder what part of the environment did you work with??
By the way, this was good to see that Obama got slapped around in Texas!!!

I work for one of the largest environmental consulting firms in the US. I do environmental research for banks and property acquisition companies to keep them from purchasing and/or lending money to purchase property that is contaminated or restricted from certain types of development due to environmental liens (like residential development in areas of high lead or other chemical contaminants in the soil or groundwater). I also help keep them in compliance with all TCEQ and EPA environmental rules and regulations. I also do research on endangered species and their habitat, archaeology, geology, and historical preservation. I'm also licensed by the state as a Texas Mold Assessment Consultant and a Texas Lead Risk Assessor. Environmental investigations could mean drilling a suspect site to take soil and groundwater samples or doing surface soil, plant, or water samples. I do historical research on each property as far back as the late 1800s, or as far as records will allow me go. It’s an interesting job.
I've also been ranching since 1973. I used to farm a lot, but got out of that because commodity prices were so low. I raised peanuts, corn, green beans (for Del Monte), peas, watermelons, grain sorghum, strawberries, and many other crops. I farmed about 1,000 irrigated acres during that time of my life (and ranched also). Now, it just a cow-calf operation. Of course a ranch just means that you are a grass farmer, so I guess I still farm.
To quell the urge to farm, I plant a large garden. It ranges from one-quarter to one-half acre. I give most of it away.

Raising cattle (not including a feed lot) is one of those jobs that allow you to hang around the coffee shop for the better part of the day, drinking coffee and shooting the bull with the rest of the cowboys. There's enough bull shot in those places to fully supply McDonalds.
(Concerning water polution) If you are located near a city or any other industailzed areas, don't drink well water without having it anylized first.
