Its cold I tell ya, its cold

I had a run in with a medium sized buck roo [@5'6"]
We [wife & daughter] were feeding parrots in the back yard of a holiday home on the coast
A roo hops past, sees what is going on then hops up to us and starts feeding out of our hands
He then started to grab at the daughter, I looked down and big red is out swinging in the breeze
I slapped him up the side of the head and told him to put it away
The wife & daughter haven't seen it yet and wonder what is going on
He is still grabbing the daughter then I started punching into him then he turns and has a go at me
It was on then
He eventually put it away and hopped away
I laugh about it now
I am sure others have had funny experiences with wild life

you were lucky to get away without a beating Tics...I hear those big roos fight dirty...that fella sounds like candidate for a rubber ring...I vote we get Vince to apply it while you stand back and video it for us to watch.....

As Elvis said Tiks...You were rather lucky said big boy didn't decide to get real snarly mate...either that or he saw you as a bigger and better bloke. Not many people outside of Australia realise just how nasty and dangerous a buck roo can be when he gets his hackles up. The mind boggles at what made him think that your wife or daughter were "up for grabs" as part of his harem. Scratch

Sorry, I shouldn't laugh mate, but I reckon it would have been as funny as buggery (which I have on good authority it is not even remotely funny) to watch you belting this fella around whilst he's waving big red at ya. Most importantly, your daughter and missus weren't subjected too what had the potential to be a very nasty and unpleasant situation.

Still, at 5'6" he was certainly nothing to sneeze at mate. Big enough to do you a mischief.
