Thanks, Elvis.
My big accomplishments while away were firing up my new smoker (salmon, pork, fresh-caught trout and many many chicken wings) and switching from Maker's Mark to Knob Creek

Welcome back Marty, great to hear from you mate.
I think Elvis pretty much covered everything, except for very VERY important piece of information...Suz has become very adept with a switch, the type of switch Dad used to keep behind the woodshed, so be aware mate. Oh, nearly forgot...Aloys is a Grandaddy now.
If memory serves me correctly, you had a problem son-in-law (?)...any more dramas in that area mate? Have any of those beautiful daughters of yours made grandparents of you guys yet?
I'm not even going to try and guess what "Maker's Mark to Knob Creek" actually means mate.

Hey Marty!! Oh I've been gooder than that! I've been doin some smokin too, just last Friday I smoked salmon and pork steaks. Chopped up the steaks for pulled pork samiches and made a smoked salmon omelet for dinner. Got an electric element for my gas smoker and it's perfect for low heat. The gas smoker has to be too hot to get any smoke out of it and too hot for fish. This works great. Good to see ya back!

Ok, 44marty, yes nice to have you back. But don't let all the changes in avatars make you think there is any reason to go changing yours. They have been changing faster than hair styles did back in the 60s.
