Drown.
After being unemployed for the last 5 years, (redundancy, cancer, recovery thank goodness) feeling wriiten off by employers, add being over 50 to the list I finally have a chance at a job placement for the next 6 to 12 weeks.
Just as this is about to kick off, I have just had a BCC found in one of my ears and I need surgery for 2 torn tendons and a couple of other issues with my rh shoulder.
I may try and put off the shoulder until later in the year so I can at least get some recent work history again.
Not looking forward to wiping my bum with the left hand, again either.
And yes I do realise how lucky I have been to have survived the last 5 years, just venting.

Hang in there mate...we are tough. If it makes you feel a little easier, a BCC, whilst not the most pleasant thing to get, is not too nasty. I've had maybe 20 frozen or cut out. Had three that required a little skin grafting. Let me know if you are looking for a good "grafter", I know one at Mater Private.

As for using your left hand (I use paper myself)...if I was able to swap from right to left handed shooting, I think you should be able to transition to using your left without too many problems mate.

Do you have Vet Affrs mate? Can any of these problems be attributed to your time in the RAAF? Let me know if I can assist mate.

Just thinking about how strange it would be to do everything I do with my right hand with my left hand. Not sure I'd be successful, but then sometimes a little strange is nice.

Ya right Pete. That is what they taught us in the Army...if'n ya only have one square of paper, fold it in half horizontally then fold it in half vertically, tear the folded corner out, then unfold it. Scratch

Ya finger fits through the small hole in the centre ya just made, and the small piece ya tore out is for cleaning under ya fingernail. Confused
