Went to my in-laws the other day to have dinner and help them identify some mushrooms they found. As soon as I got there my father-in-law tells me he has something for me. So we went out to his reloading shed. He came out with a box and book. The box was 500 count Oregon Trail 180gr bullets for 40 S&W and the book was the Oregon Trail reloading manual. After handing them to me I said "thanks, what do I owe you for these?" he says that I have done a lot for him and that he wanted me to have them. He says its the least he could do. I nearly fell over.

Great stuff mate. Your Dad-in-law is obviously a damn fine man.

It's never about the amount but about the choosing of the right gift. Seems as though he put thought into the gift and indicates his appreciation of you. Good job.

You cannot chose your parents,
but as for parents-in-law that's something completely different. Smile

Some advice: have a good look at your mother-in-law,
one day your wife will likely turn out to be about the same...
