Investment advice, 401-KEG

Just thought I'd pass this advice from the financial advisor at the California Predators Club, ShooterJohn, to you fellers that are actively seeking to become rich.

If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1,000.00.

With WorldCom, you would have had less than $5.00 left.

But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of Beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling REFUND, you would have had $214.00.

Based on the above, the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

It's called the 401-Keg Plan. We should all start to invest now!

Actually I don't find the premise too funny. The guys at the tops of these major corporations don't seem to be hurting in spite of the stocks seeming to take one bath after another. It's the little guy, who invests his life's savings that feels the full weight of the failures. There seems to be a pattern to this. Acquire a stock, build it up to a ridiculous level, drain it dry, then unload what little is left via bankrupsy proceedings. I don't trust any ofthem anymore. Best wishes.
