Elvis stated that barry Crump was the iconic Kiwi Bloke and thats about it in a ntshell, he was a hunter by occupation but turned his hand to writing producing a string of very readable books about Kiwi Blokes based around his exploits. Titles include - A good keen man, Bastards I have met, Hang on a minute mate, in the Mid 1980s he was the front man for the Toyota Hilux Ads in New Zealand where he was partnered by "Scotty" who was a townie, I hava added several of the links to their adds which won heaps of awards here and internationally. Its the reason why Toyota became the No1 selling 4x4 Ute. I'm baised as I own a Mitsubishi L200 4x4 which I beleive was a better deal even though I drove Hilux for work.

English Mike, Toyota not that well liked in the UK? Don't they leak enough oil? No suspense when you go to start them in the foggy weather?
