Found this on youtube, its made by a former boss of mine with some really cool tech. He uses a powerful RC airplane with a live video feed back to him and he sees via a Virtual Reality helmet and flys it remotely. Some staggeringly beautiful camera shots up on the cliffs.

My house is at the base of some of these mts, 4100ft, the highest peak is +10,000 ft

I love that, there's a guy in my neighborhood that does that too. He has videos in my area and over on the coast. He doesn't edit much, so you get pretty much the entire flight. He has regular cockpit instrumentation on the video too. Spent some money on that stuff. It weird to see him flying because you just see him on a school football field with a headset on and his goggles and then beside him he has a sort of satellite disk looking thing that extends his range (I'm guessing). You'd think he was watching TV or something.
When I grow up, I wanna do that.

Oh we have some FLAT areas here too. I would almost bet as big as all of Australia.
