...and it’s only a small tree. Says a lot for the strength of the vehicle...NOT. They are lucky they hit it rear end first and not side on...I reckon the Coroner would be involved had this been the case.

Not necessarily, different requirements for body strength and crumple in the front and rear of a vehicle vs the cabin.
Todays vehicles basically sacrifice themselves by crumpling front or rear to absorb energy and reduce transmitted G forces to the occupants, this plus seat belts and various airbags gives you a much greater chance of survival. The cabin shell is on the whole a lot more ridgid than the front or rear designed crumple zones, it can still collapse if hit hard enough, at which point survivability numbers start decreasing. Seat belts and airbags anti intrusion bars in doors etc add to the survival of the occupants in side impacts.
Millions of dollars in development of all these safety improvements countless lives saved.
The single point of failure is generaly the meatbag gripping the steering wheel.

On the road Bushy there is ALWAYS danger involved.
Usually by cretins who combine
1 a lack of basic driving skill
2 the inability to read the road
3 ignorance
4 the inability to put their f@#&ing mobil phone down

Mate I have lots of fun, usually on 2 wheels on twisty roads and my hyper perception of the above is what keeps all of my appendages where they belong and me breathing.
This is in total reverse when inside olympics are on and the greatest danger is falling out of bed or pulling a hamstring.....

I was there, I saw the whole thing.
He was driving down the road, minding his own business when that tree, with the Biden sign on it, reached out and grabbed the car to cover up the sign and to warm up from the cold. That is why the back end is wrapped so tightly around the back end.
It's all Trump's fault!
