An 80+ year old man has been arrested on suspicion of a felony of having "unregistered guns. The police found 350 guns in the man's home. The man collects old military guns and 90% of his guns were old bolt action rifles in military trim. He also had semi-auto rifles and pistols. In southern California if you don't register your semi-auto guns it can be a felony even though the guns were legally purchased and owned before the registration law was enacted.
In the other end of the country, Illinois just passed a law that allows your guns to be taken one the whim of almost anyone who thinks you are a possible threat. No trial just the word of a person who believes you might be dangerous.
I hope I get called to serve on a jury when Washington state passes similar crap.

The land of the free?
The land of being nibbled to death by ducks more like it.
Whatever happened to due process, or do you only get that as a politician?

Elvis, we are talking California here. Brains in gov't are difficult to find.

I hope WA doesn't pass a law like that. Won't happen in TX, WY, or Montana.

Wyoming is looking better all the time.
There is an initiative that is in the works in Washington that will require annual registration of magazines that hold more than ten rounds and semi-auto rifles and handguns. It was pushed onto the house and senate last year and died a proper death so the anti-gunners got money to put it in an initiative for the voters in Pierce, Snohomish and King counties to pass for the whole state. when it passes I will not register my guns or the magazines so that will make me a felon. I would rather be a felon than a sheeple.
