Sorry for the delay in answering. I just returned from a 4 day coyote hunt over in Millen, GA.
I have to admit that I don't save hides so how a bullet blows up the coyote is not a concern to me. But the 100 grainer's do most of the work inside on the 3 that I took with the them. I like the bullet because it shoots so well in my Win M-70 7-08 Rem and T/C Contender Pistol 7x30 Waters.
It gets instant knock down on coyotes and wild dogs (problem critter down here in Jawja). Armadillos are fun with this round too.
It should be good poison for coyotes and ground hogs up your way.

I also like the Sierra 100gr. bullets, both of them. I like the SBT for accuracy and the PSP (flat base) in the field although I don't find a lot of difference between them. Both are very good. I think they are a little more accurate in my 6mm Rem. than in my .243Win., but that's probably due to the barrel twist: 1 in 9 1/4" (6mm Rem.) vs 1 in 10" (.243Win.). Both do the job nicely.
