Here is a great special on the web, if you are interested get with another member for additional savings for a great price.

I don't normally endorse many products but in this case I have to say that I have been totally happy with all of the barrels that I have had from Green Mountain. They are all supurbly accurate, if there is any one thing with them that is that they do have to be shot @ 50 - 100 rounds before they stop cutting patches. The rifling is that sharp!!

I own a GM barrel on my hawkin, best thing i ever did for it. Even bought my brother a kit last year for Christmas to replace his barrel... they are getting pricy though compared to what they used to be.

Green Mountain barrels are very accurate. This sounds like a good deal for a replacement for my Renegade. My hunting buddy also is thinking about buying one so I will pass the word to him also.

By the way, for those who have purchased drop in barrels before check out the recall to see if you are affected.

Product Recall Notice
Green Mountain needs to do a precautionary recall on some of our Thompson Center drop-in barrels. If you have a barrel in the following Serial Number range 026220-027303 please contact Kerry Smith at (603) 447-1095 x18 to make arrangements to have your barrel returned for inspection. Thank you and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you dont mind alittle elbow greese and some work, you can lap the bore's on your new barrels with a tight fitting jag and double cleaning patches with some medium or fine valve laping compound. Sit in front of the tv at night and run the patches in and out of the barrel a few hundred times(FULL STROKES) and before you know it your barrel is as smooth as a baby's bottom and shoots alot better.
