I was getting dog food and walked past the sporting goods department at the local Wal-Mart and saw a pile of Winchester .22 ammo. It was the red bulk packs of "333" ammo for less than $10.00. I picked up as much as I could easily afford and left the store. It is hit or miss find .22 ammo around here. All the best...

I keep walking by the Walmart counter to check to see what comes in. Got some .45 the other day. Bought all the Winchester "333" .22LR that had a while back but haven't seen any lately. Need more as my AR-22LR loves this ammo and I shoot plenty of it up. Walmart is the only store around here that did not raise prices on ammo. Everyone else is 50% to 300% higher. Walmart limits a customer to 2 boxes at a time. People were coming in and buy as much as $2000 at a time - basically their entire display case.

Really .......... Shocked even Walmart here still sells ammo but not rifles! I thought all the box stores going out of stuff like that was a Canadian thing. Even our Canadian Tire still has ammo but again no rifles.

Real luck is when you get the .45!

.45 is not an issue with me. I cast my own bullets and have enough brass to supply a small nation.

Thats right! I also garden, can/freeze what we grow, hunt for meat, not antlers, have the hides tanned, And when I do get Antlers, make pipes and knife handles out of the antlers.
