Where did you find that box? I've been looking for something similar. Pelican's are just too expensive.

I was having a search for a range box and came across this Dallan...might be just what you are looking for mate.

Vincenzo,

Is that listing for the box or the foam inserts that are used in the Ridged box?

That was just for the foam inserts. Now they look "slick"! Wish I had thought to look on eBay before I stated this project.

Hopefully not just the inserts mate, but if so, there seems to be plenty of listings for the box.

It is an amazing box. A 1/4 of the cost of other injected molded boxes with more features.

yes, I like it. I was able to read my handwriting at 100 yards on an overcast day.

hunterjoe, it looks really nice. I got to use the scope this past week glassing for Barbary sheep in New Mexico. Even at 60x, I could clear glass at over a mile away. A very sturdy, steady tripod is a must.

I doubt this will ever actually leave my truck if I use it other than at the range. I plan to pick up a window mount, but forgot to make sure I left room in th case for it.
