Here's an odd one....
Out for a pedal, cresting the hill here in PV, couple few birds try and make it across the road, one's lagging, she bolts but catches the bumper of a car.
Plop! in the road in front of me....hit brakes, grab bird, shove in jersey pocket, hammer home. Dinner! Nice fat female Valley. Full crop too. Impact busted her leg and hip, breast was perfect.
Sometimes I think God likes me! Burrrrp!

Auto Tenderized! Glad you finally got one. See you didn't have to trapes all over the country side. Enjoy!

Well done Stovey. At least you know it was fresh mate.
Elvis...even roadkill when out of season is a no-no mate?

Well Stovey hope you're doing better then me , It looks like I am out for the season. I took a spill and fractured my pelvis in two places. I am going to have lots of time to do gun projects. Zero weight bearing till sometime in September. By then I'll probably be a bucket of mush. Be careful buddy, it only took a second to end up flat on my back.

Holy sht! Been there, 7 pelvic fractures. They are VERY painful. 8 weeks you'll be mo bettuh. Here's what I did. 4 weeks in as things started to knit I had some of the boys come over and lower my seat, put my bike in the mag-trainer and I'd clip in my feet and spin taking my dead leg along for the ride (got ran over and crushed). Not sure how bad yours is...but it helped cut my recovery in half, really got the blood flowing.
Either way please heal up quick, yer gona be missed out there man!

Any old magnetic one as they are quiet. The fan ones are too bloody noisey. Soem come with an extra skewer so you dont booger your nice on in the holders. If not, go get a cheapo skewer for that reason. I lowered my seat 15-20 mm to cut down on extension and doubled up on shorts to increase pad thickness. Give it a few weeks for the knitting to start and let pain be your guide. I've been through this before and it is dabilitating. But, you will come through- esp since you were cylcing as you are in shape and that promotes recovery. You'll be good to go by Upland opener.
Here's a lil something I jsut put together...huals ass!
