Do you know what happened this week back in 1850, 158 years ago?

California became a state.
The State had no electricity.
The State had no money.
Almost everyone spoke Spanish.
There were gunfights in the streets.

So basically, it was just like California today; except back then, women had real breasts and the men didn't hold hands.

Vince, that's a good one.

Regression....Sometimes its not so bad....I believe that progress can sometimes be detrimental to a society (i.e. you can out-grow your water supply). Gunfights in the streets...that keeps the riff-raff population down.

The school system sucked, no money to pay them.

When I dream of the good old days, I dream of the exact thing you seem to detest. Where every person was responsible for his or her well-being....carved their place in the world. I live on a dirt road and provide my own water and I ask the state for nothing. I can also use the barter system to survive. Ah...the good old days.

Did you notice that all the illegal aliens are, how do I say this- Oh well the best I can do is under-educated". Wow, I did a PC statement.

And why do the liberals promote open borders, so more under-educated folks can come into the States and when we finally give them all amnesty, then they can all vote for the Democrats.

We need to take back control of the Gov.
