I was wondering if this chamber is still avaliable? I heard about it several years ago and started researching it on the net, but was unable to really find any info on it. The only thing I found was some load tests, i.e. launching a 200+ grain bullet over 3000 fps. That's pretty good and was wondering if it is still offered?

300 Phoenix(.416 Rigby case trimmed to 2,5") necked down to .308, an example of a wildcat that did not live up to its promise.
Hoped for a 250gr-gr at 3100fps. Velocity was 2800fps. Remington .300 Ultra Magnum and .30 Waetherby, I think are prakticalier.
There is also .50 BMG necked-down to .338 (300 Zetah?) and shoulder angle 35 degrees. Errosion occured after 250 shots. 250gr-bullet 3700fps, ME 7625 with this "baby".

If I need speedy .30 cal rifle, .300 Lapua Mag is the ticket. There is in a gunshop ones fired Lapua Mag. military cases. Also from .416Rigby cases it is possibility to make .300 Lapua Magnum cases. Errosion occured after 1000 -1500 shots.
