I am getting new pages loading from your advertisers and from a site that wants to download a bogus "Firefox" version. I have the latest version and I have checked it twice. It only happens on this site. When I log in I get the first page and then it is intermittent when I go from the forum index to one of the forums. It did it when I came here to report it.
I have run my security software and no bugs on my end so I thought I should tell you about it. That is when I noticed that an advertizers page showed up - "World of Warcraft". here are two of the links that popped up new pages:
www.browse-update.net/Firefox/
www.pressroomvip.com/?...override=1
Be careful they are not to be trusted.

Got it as well. I'll be talking to the person over our account tomorrow. I'm seeing all kinds of ad's starting today that shouldn't be displaying here.

Thanks Dallan. It happened just once today but I know these things can take time. I have to save cookies while here or the site doesn't recognize me as logged on when I change pages. My computer clears history, cookies and All browser info when I close the browser. I also have anti-virus and adware/malware protection on my system That I trust very highly. It's all open source software but it is highly respected. I am not worried about me picking up malware but if the site is infected it could make coming here more difficult.
Thanks again,
Paul

When I get this, it opens in another browser tab... so I can then switch back to huntingnut and see what advertisements are being shown. Its coming from one of those (although it is very intermittent at the moment)

I'm missing all the fun running Ubuntu and Mandrake Linux, just might have to build a windows pc and find out what everyone is talking about.
Like I said before the only ads I see are outdoor hub, Remington using FF with no-script.
Will build it tonight and use my wife's copy of windows 7 to install since I have a few cases and mb's laying around that are less than 6 months old and will report back tomorrow afternoon.

Update
I ran a scan using etherape as root on my machines and everything shows normal as the host (huntingnut provider) is running Apache and one thing stands out bold is my use of OpenDns instead of my internet providers Dns.
When I build that windows 7 pc tonight, I will use the providers dns and log on to huntingnut and see what happens tomorrow afternoon.
Here are some screen caps using etherape on a linux machine, tomorrow will be a capture(s) from a windows machine.
I believe my use of "opendns" on all my computers help with this problem. Stay tuned for win7 tomorrow.

I am getting a new page but I noticed that the new spam loads BEFORE the ads show up on the page (they are still a black background when the new page loads.
Here is the screen shots:

Running windows 7 on newly built pc and fail to see popups and the only ads that appear here are Remington and OutdoorHub. One thing I did notice running FF with No-Script was "txtsrving.info" was blocked by NS.
The item that was blocked is an adserver:
Whois data
Name Server NS-629.AWSDNS-14.NET, NS-1679.AWSDNS-17.CO.UK, NS-321.AWSDNS-40.COM, NS-1510.AWSDNS-60.ORG
Status CLIENT DELETE PROHIBITED, CLIENT RENEW PROHIBITED, CLIENT TRANSFER PROHIBITED, CLIENT UPDATE PROHIBITED
Expiration Date 14-Aug-2014 17:33:19 UT
To bad they didn't port etherape to windows and will have to look for a sniffer.

I made a change on my end and was not interrupted this time - so far.
I changed my cookies to only accept from sites visited instead of "always".
We will see if that does the trick.

I got on today with my cookies set to "always" and still get the extra pages loading but it doesn't do it with the setting at "visited only".
So I know how to avoid it but still don't know why it is there.
I will just keep my cookies set to "from visited and won't have a problem.

I have mine set the same way and as long as I have my cookies set to from "visited" only I don't see the ad pages.
When I login to my bank and account management I have to set the cookies back to "always" and if I forget to reset it when I come here the pages pop up.
So, my fix is to always remember to change the cookies back to "visited" and all is well.
