Found this whitetail last week while while out trying to locate some cow elk with calves. Did find some elk after the fog lifted, but couldn't get close enough for decent pics. This whitetail was nice enough to pose for me. Smile

Nice shot!

I love the foggy background too.
How did you manage not to fog up your lens?

Sweeeeet looking doe. Your photography skills are every bit as awesome as your ability to find critters Moose.

Isn't that what telephoto lenses are for?!?

I always enjoy your pics, M2.

Thanks guys for the nice comments. Yes SJ, thats what telephotos are for, for sure. I did take some elk pics, but they were over 400 yards out. My tele, was not up to that task to take a decent pic. I need to be under a 100 yards to get a good pic of an elk size animal. It was fun watching them. They had me pegged. Wasn't going to get any closer.
Nice to know where they are though. Smile

If you got within 400 yards of a cow elk that is pretty good. I'm impressed. I've had them watch me like a hawk from 1000 and 1200 yards a way. A whitetail wouldn't have paid any attention at all.
