Only known Photo of a 60
This picture is a buck taken in 1928 or 1929 in Sonora Mexico.
The young lady's grandfather had killed it. If I remember right Emmett Burrougs Was
down in Mexico on vacation and seen these horns on a fence post in her
yard. He handeled them personally and they were not fake. They had no
reason to alter them. She was clueless as what they really meant. I think
he offered her a good sum of money for them and she said no that it
meant alot to her to keep them. Emmett Asked if he could take a picture of
them and she obliged.

Something occured to me, how are the antlers so dark after sitting on a fence? It only takes a short time for them to turn white from sun exposure.
