The legal season for Canada Lynx was over in four days with only four traps set up for lynx when our limit was reached. We even had to release unharmed 5 of them that we determined were too small.

That lynx on top certainly looked fierce.
Whats that mouse thing on the first image?
How much skin can you get out of something that size?

Hello Gelandangan,
This is the first time that I catch a mouse in a marten box. This year we had a very late fall and we had mice all over the place. The mouse is placed back in the marten box to serve as bait.

Great pictures! That white hare should have an interesting time surviving till the snow flys. Love the box's used with the Conibears as well, I used them in the past but never thought to use a box with them.

Hello Dallan,
Here is a box set up for marten but with a weasel caught in it. This is a good set up since the dead fur bearer is suspended in the air and is not easily reached by others and eaten away.

Can someone turn that picture 90 degrees for me? Trees grow vertically and not horizontally......

You know htat you are not in Oz. here trees grow upside down.
