Good for you Vinnie! Usually I plant some flags at the cemetery but I'm in the middle of a late hunting season. I'll pause a moment when the sun comes up Sunday morning and say a prayer. Hopefully then I'll plant a deer in my truck and pause again in thanks.

The latter verse has become our Act Of Remembrance.
I'm not sure of the protocol in the US but we have a two minutes silence at 11am on the 11th which I attempt to observe wherever I am each year.

As a Vet, I remember all year round and not on a specific day.
I wear a Poppy on my hat all year round, but I have replace the pin with a cloisonne breast cancer pin to remember my late wife. I was asked by a reporter why.
I want to take this time to thank the Vets for their serve and sacrifices.
And to steal what Vince ended on.
