About 10 years ago I had the opportunity to shoot a crossbow at a now closed archery range near grimsby ontario.

The owner told me to take this metal crossbow and to shoot at the target 100 yards away. He told me where to hold the aiming point on the scope and gave me the cocking device and two more bolts as I would want to fire it again.

He was right!
100 yards and three bolts TIGHT in the bullseye.

Now the rest of the story... That crossbow was LOUD!!!
Anything that you would hunt would be jumping the string. Never seen a crossbow like that since. No markings on it nothing. I think that it is a prototype.

some of these new crossbow shoot like rifles.
