My brother and I went to camp for a small fishing trip. We had this small visitor come to the smell of bacon frying. We left him a present of all the food we had left over when it was time for us to return to civilization. We want to let him fatten up for two or three years before we borrow his fur coat.

Bear meat is excellent but it is not legal trapping season yet. The legal trapping season begins on October 18th, 2012 at zero hour.

Fishing/hunting/trapping camp is so far away in the bush that the bears present in that location eat only greens, berries, and the occasional meat, they are omnivores. There are no dumps in that location for them to eat McDonald burgers or Kentucky fried chickens they only eat ecologically grown food

just as well it was the last day then. Our Kea (Native Mountain Parrot) are not to be fed as they will tear up a camp site if they get used to humans, far better to chase them off to keep them out of trouble.
