A friend has come up with an old 94 win. in 35/30wcf. Apparently it was originaly a wildcat produced by winchester. He says he can find very little even from winchester. I hope you guys can give something to pass on. Maybe a book or magazine he could read up on it.

Thanks for the info Slinger. I had not heard of this round either. Apparently it was a fix for 30/30 and 32 special with worn out barrels

Indeed I do remember this caliber as a youngster, my uncle had one of these "wildcats" and made his own ammo from 30/30 brass. I don't remember all the details but he always got his game (deer, yotes) with this gun.
I scanned a page from one of my books should your buddy be interested in reloading for this cartridge.
