That looks remarkably like an old Penn 22 that I have hiding around the place. Could be a Japanese copy because the Penns tended to have Bakelite plastic on the outer faces of the reel. It would be late 1960s early 1970s in age.
Whatever the case it's in good nick for its age, probably hasn't seen salt water.
Interested if anyone else can shed some light.

That's a dooozie, I've been cruising the web pages looking for that name on fishing tackle and only come up with nuthin. The name might actually be a model name and not a manufacturer's name, but still there should be something about it. This place welcomes inquiries, you might send an e-mail with the photos and see what's up. Bottom of the page is the contact info.

I have two similar reels myself, I will post pics and maybe able to shed some light on the subject once I can dig em up.

Cool! That's sort of my luck too, I find something that's new (to me) and get all excited and find out the date of the web site is years ago and nobody's around now. Funny how many forums don't get much traffic. This one sure does tho. Aren't we hot! So I'm betting that thing is from Europe or maybe it's Asian. You'd think the name would be easy to find otherwise. If you search that name you get a bunch of stuff from India. Seems to be a common name there.

That reel looks similar to my grandfathers old Bronson Commander bait cast reel, take a look at this page and it will tell you how to identify a bronson reel.
