Tomorrow is the opening of our flintlock deer season. I found a local shop that stocks GOEX black powder at a decent price. Most of the local gun shops no longer carry black powder. All the best...

Good deal Gil, earlier I scored 2 pistols and one o/u shotgun at an auction and what I didn't mention was also included was 6lbs of Goex and 2lbs 777 and all that powder was $8.00 after the auction. Very Happy

The 6lbs of Goex came in metal cans that were sealed (late 70's-early 80's)and I opened one can to shoot with the front-stuffer and it worked great. Here are 2 pics front and back of the can of Goex

Good deal. Get what you need when you can. Very few gun shops around here have black powder. Take care...
