I will have my 22-250 A.I. Dialed in soon and want to go Prarie Dog hunting in Arizona somewhere between Kingman and Williams this coming April or May. I think before April might be too cold. I live in So. Cal. Any information on where to go will be appreciated. Norman

Hit the Bouquious ranch just west of Seligman off of Route 66, go in the Pica Camp entrance and sign in at the HQ. They have 1000's of acres of PDs to shoot at and have always been supportive of varmint hunts.

Thanks. Am I correct in thinking that before April is not a good time to go P.D. hunting ?

AZ is closed to PD hunting from mid March to June during their breeding season. PDs don't hibernate but they are less active during the winter months, but if if it's a nice day they will be out.
