Start with a medium size camping trailer. Drink a beer. Got your interest?

Pull it out to a likely looking area. Two more beers. Sounds good so far?

Jam some poles in the ground. Deer stands are, after all, off the ground.

Drink more beer while using a couple of tractors with loaders.

Raise it WAY UP and fasten it! (Burp !!)

Drink a beer or two more and step back to admire your work.

Build a deck (so you'll have a place to sit outside and drink another beer).

Build some nice stairs so you don't have to go down a ladder while inebriated.

Practice shooting deer with a piece of lumber and a beer.

Now that is one deer stand!!

Cheers, Vince

I thought it was a bit small.

I'd want to see a couple of cross braces on those legs before venturing up. Shocked

If you look at the photo of the completed "stand" (the one with the ladders and trailer underneath) I'm pretty sure that there is a drain pipe coming down in front of the big tree in the background.
