Always an interesting topic.
Still aint settled on load for Boomer... got two bullet weights I'm interested in....200/240gr Nos JHP for traget shooting.
Only had two half-way decent chances so far to test due to the winds in this area fouling up every session I've been out on. Literally every session has been blown out. I'm anxious to see if the 200gr works at 100/200y as well as the 240gr seeing as how the twist is 1:20 on a 9.5" tube. I'm not concerned with TB, just stability/accuracy. Couple of folk say the 200gr pill is too small for over 50y and won't fly.
At 50y it's pretty even w/ 3 loads... before it started to blow. Been too darned windy though to do any testing at longer ranges the last 3 times....I mean WINDY. (20-40mph, swirling, shifting, gusting, stuff blowing over etc...)
Same's why I always bring the .22...it's been getting used a lot of late.
Should be intersting to see if/what the diffs are in clicks of elev. at a given range and group sizes etc....and what the pistol actually likes the best.
Aint reloading and research fun?!!!!
