Finally bought a safe Dicks Sporting Goods had this one on sale for $399 it's far from top of the line but it should serve the purpose. I bolted it to the floor and wall it holds 19 guns it's not fire resistant but I can live with that for the price. stack-on.com/securityp...g-719.html

Good choice. You never need a gun safe until you need one very badly. All the best...

Now you don't got to worry about more guns, but more ammunition and magazines for that AR. Very Happy

If all the guns are in that safe he has to start worrying about intruders......

that is IF ALL the guns are in that safe.

Nice safe. I haven't been able to bring myself to buy a safe. I'm a custom cabinet/furniture maker and many of my projects have been gun storage and concealment challenges. I've done everything from classic gun cabinets to hidden rooms. My specialty was bedroom sets, I have made many different beds designed to hold guns. The most was room for 48 long guns in a pedestal bed, three hidden compartments in a head board, and sliding tops to conceal special compartments in the night stands. All have hidden locking devices just in case someone is intelligent enough to figure out that there is secret storage. My personal bed has a drawer that holds 15 long guns that unless you see it pulled out you have no idea its there. Plus 4 large locking drawers and access to normally unused space below the head board. I still need to finish the slide in gun rack for in there.

Nice Joe, I've still got the cheap heavy duty locker type safe in my closet. I've looked at those at Dick's. Some day I'll upgrade..

Their Prices on M14 magazines are real good, not sure about the AR magazines but they are good people and everyone has been happy with them on other forums ordering magazines. But they got magazines as low as 9$ each for the AR. Has the USGI NHMTG 30 round magazines for 12$ each.

Ammunition and magazines, you can never have too many.

Thanks for the link D. In MD I can't buy anything larger than a 20 round mag. I can't have them shipped to a MD Address either but I can legally own them wtf . So It's easier for me to go to Delaware and pick them up.
