You Might Be a Redneck....a different take
We have enjoyed the redneck jokes for years. It's time to take a reflective look at the core beliefs of a culture that values home, family, country and God. If I had to stand before a dozen terrorists who threaten my life, I'd choose a half dozen or so rednecks to back me up. Tire irons, squirrel guns and grit -- that's what rednecks are made of. I hope I am one of those. If you feel the same, pass this on to your redneck friends. Ya'll know who ya'll are.
You might be a redneck if: It never occurred to you to be offended by the phrase, 'One nation, under God.'
You might be a redneck if: You've never protested about seeing the 10 Commandments posted in public places.
You might be a redneck if: You still say ' Christmas' instead of 'Winter Festival.'
You might be a redneck if: You bow your head when someone prays.
You might be a redneck if: You stand and place your hand over your heart when they play the National Anthem.
You might be a redneck if: You treat our armed forces veterans with great respect, and always have.
You might be a redneck if: You've never burned an American flag, nor intend to.
You might be a redneck if: You know what you believe and you aren't afraid to say so, no matter who is listening.
You might be a redneck if: You respect your elders and raised your kids to do the same.
You might be a redneck if: You'd give your last dollar to a friend.
If you got this email from me, it is because I believe that you, like me, have just enough Red Neck in you to have the same beliefs as those talked about in this email.
God Bless the USA !
Keep the fire burning, redneck friend.
IF YOU DON'T STAND BEHIND OUR TROOPS FEEL FREE TO STAND IN FRONT OF THEM.
IN GOD WE TRUST
Cheers, Vince

That's a good one Vince! Someone called me a redneck once and I said "Thank you!" They were totally stunned. I said "Obviously you mean the folks who grow your food, make the products you need and make sure you get them all."

Hollywood is mostly responsible for the Redneck stereotype.
Imagine that bunch being down on anyone? I mean really is there a more degenerate bunch of human garbage on the face of the earth than that which populates Hollywood, CA?
I also love the NY Times and it's cartoons and jokes. My question to NY is just how stupid do you have to be, to be a redneck? When was the last time a redneck (outside of AR) voted for or elected a female from Arkansas to represent their views and their state in the federal government???? Rednecks just ain't that stupid. Duh.....
Born a redneck, raised a redneck and a redneck now by choice. As Jr said, "If you ain't into that I don't give a damn."
Best,
Ed

A Redneck will survive when a Yuppie will perish.

I stick out pretty badly here.
Jeans, boots etc....don't own a pair of 'sneakers' or soft shoes, all my footwear is leather. It's what I am and who I am.
I gravitate towards 'normal' people that speak my language (ENGLISH!!!) and share my ideals. (just like you guys).
I dont have a computer, a cell phone...and if hunting wasn't on cable I wouldn't have that either.
I like steel and oil and gas and things that go boom. Not shite run by batteries, electricity or the interweb chat-room group hugggers seeking strangers approval.
My truck has some dents but it's serviced a lot and runs like a top and it's quiet. The tires are always dirty, never 'amor-all'ed' and they are the correct size, not 50 sizes too big. It sees a dirt road every weekend and usually has something bleeding, heavy or broken in the back.
I listen to both kinds of music too....country and western. Not gangstah wrap of whatever the hell you call that stuff... in fact if I can hear your music over mine and I don't like it, ya get a one finger wave as you are obvioulsy starving for attention and making up for some inadiquacy.
So- call me a redneck and I'll take it as a compliment. Push the issue and you better smile when ya say it.

It's too cold up at your place.
Cold weather is in direct conflict with their 'global warming' agenda.
They'll try again next summer ta come up and see ya....if their cooking oil powered bus don't breakdown on the way.
