Any suggestions other than the obvious, well maybe even the obvious??
I have dabbled with photography over the years but this is my first trail cam.

Thanks

I bought two memory cards for mine so I could easily check the pictures while leaving the camera out there.

I picked up a three pack of 2gb SD cards pretty cheap. I'm wondering if "just" still pics are OK or is there anything to gain by using burst or movies?? I know it will use more mem but is it worth it? I'm looking forward to playing with it this week end!

Welcome to Trail Camera Photography. What kind did you get? I have had lots of fun with mine (I-60 Moultrie). I have had it out for about 2 months and have seen several excellent bucks along with lots of does and smaller bocks. I have not tried the video yet but I like having it set on 3 pictures per sensor trip. I have cought several bucks in the second frame (doe in the first, buck, then empty frame) that I would have missed normally. Good luck and hope to see some of your photos. Howdy

Using this camera during the hunting season sure added more info. PICs of deer and elk. Still doing trials on location / trail angles for best animal placement and flash. It adds an additional activity for us in the woods.
