It is too bad about your friend, Joe!! If the man who shot him had respect taught to him in the first place he would not have killed your friend. Respect is taught from real early childhood. Bring up a child in the way that is right and when he is old he will depart from it: Proverbs

Sooo...Exicutions don't deter crime...But at least we don't have to feed, cloth and house them. Or give them a chance to escape or get paroled. No more money spent on a psychiatrist either...Oh...I'm for the death pentalty and fast tracking...

If there's RESPECT amongst each of us, we wouldn't need to talk about crime...

you are aware that there IS crime out there??

The bad guys aren't surveying us to figure out which is the best one to rob.

Last I saw, in a suburb 15 miles from Cleveland, a Cleveland resident hitched a ride as far as he could, then STOLE a car, drove the STOLEN car to a SUBURB, CARJACKED a young mother, ran from the police 30 miles, with the young mother's 2 year old baby in the back seat, jumped from stolen vehicle while moving 30 miles an hour, and blamed the mother for NOT telling him that the baby was in the back seat.

I think a hanging tree or gallows out front of the court house would be more of a deterrent then the new testament. Especially if it was used on occasion right after a trial. Smile
