Well its been a couple of weeks since I lasted posted, so I thought I would stick a little note on here and tell you all I'm still alive and well.
I have been really busy thats why no posts for a couple of weeks. I will try and do better.
I just finished up a couple of Curly Maple plaques that I mounted last years Coues Deer on, when I get a chance I will post some pictures of them for you all to take a look at, the wood turned out really nice, it has some nice figure in it.
I will only post them for you if you promise not to laugh at the racks that I mouned, Coues Deer arent the biggest deer out there and if you didnt know better you wouldnt think the antlers were trophy sizes. Very Happy

Can understand the delay Knifeboy, must take a while to get close enough to those suckers to stab them to death! Laughing At least you get bigger trophies than me - anyone know the best way to display a squirrel's head? Confused

Knifeboy- I know what you mean about small racks. My wife is from Colo. ( where they have mule deer) and when I brough home the first buck from East Texas, she just smiled and said something to the like why didn't you shoot his daddy .
At least you got drawn for deer tags, my son and his buddies were not so fortunate. We are looking forward to seeing your desert next month, going to see our son in Tucson.
