Joe, haven't been around in a while. Way to go! It looks like you have a 6 bird limit in MD as well? How long did it take you to limit out? Hope you got to do some duck hunting.

I must of had a short in the brain. We have a 3 bird limit during the regular goose season. Ducks have a bag limit of 6. The special winter season (1/19 - 2/15) is 5 geese. Of course there's the snows which get heavy in south Jersey. The season runs late for them. Is the duck season still open there? 2 of the 3 ducks zones here are closed and the Coastal zone closes 1/22.

That's the thing with geese in the field. You can end up limiting out early.

What little surfing I've been doing has been visiting a couple waterfowl sites that mostly deal with Jersey along with PA, DE, MD and occasionally some others.

I shoot a Benelli Super Black Eagle--Like others I thought I had to be shooting 3 1/2" F or T shot. I found out very quickly that all I needed was #2 steel in 2 3/4 shells for ducks and #2 3" shells for geese. I might add that I have killed geese with the 2 3/4" #2's as well. I use an Improved cylinder choke and I use the same choke for pheasants and quail.
