Vint2,

I had to go back and look up my ml barrels twist rate:

T/C Encore 26" barrel (scoped)
.50 Cal
1:28" twist rate
150 gr Triple Seven (3-50 gr pellets)
Winchester Triple Seven Primer
270 gr Powerbelt Platinum Bullet
1.900 5 shot group (without swabbing the barrel)

Also:

T/C Encore ProHunter 28" barrel (w/open sights)
.50 Cal
1:28" twist rate
100 gr Triple Seven (2-50 gr pellets)
Winchester Triple Seven Primer
270 gr Powerbelt Platinum Bullet (the 245 gr copper aero-tip ballistics are slightly different, but really not enough to worry about in a hunting situation, especially with open sights)
1.890" 3 shot group @ 75 yards (without swabbing the barrel)

Between the Encore and the PH, we put 5 deer in the box last year, the first year my wife was using the PH model. Terminal performance of the Power Belt bullets, especially the Platinum version, is nothing short of incredible.

110 grains true weight FFg, T/C mag sabot (or Hornady green), 240 grain XTP, CCI #11's....in a 1:28 twist 50 cal. inline.

Averages around an inch at 100 yards via 3X9 leupy scope, but have shot many cloverleafs as well.

+ 2" at 100 gives you a zero at 200.......

Deer die easy at that range, with that load......................

Although I really dont care, I have deduced that Paradise (as defined by Wildstalker)is somewhere within the boundaries of the Commonwealth of Pennsyltucky.
