thought you didnt like the cold and SOUTH would have been a better answer me thinks

In the situation as described south equals more people, more people equals bad idea me thinks

cold easier to adapt to than say..being shot at by looters or some yahoo's private army being sent in to "maintain and restore order" vis: blackwater in New Orleans last year.

well here south of you, there are many good places to hide and canyons to have good advantage points for better attacks.
better bottling up looters and lion dens to feed them to.
didnt mean south like below kalispell location sorry for confusion

OK, just had something brilliant that I wrote pointed out to me, I have no idea what a compound box is, it was supposed to read compound bow.

If the scat hit the fan I'd have to take my .223 because of the possibility of surplus military ammo that might be available. Definately my .357. Actually Vince I'd have to disagree on not taking my .22, A couple of bulk packs would last quite a while. Not sure about the 12ga but the muzzle loader would be left behind.

Keetoowah...move over baby, I'm on my way. With the couple of drops of Potawatomi in me, I think we'd get along ok. Maybe even teach each other a thing or two with my military background too.

If I was staying around here I would take my 25-06 and all my (lots) ammo and my 22 rim fire. But if I figgered it was to last for some time I would go North as well. I would be taking my 45-70 and all my ammo (again lots) as well as my 22 rim fire with thousands of rounds of ammo. No need for a shotgun cause small game could easily be taken with the rim fire (head shots) and for the weight and bulk of 12 gauge ammo I can take a lot of 22 rim fire ammo.

I'm far enough North, that I would be singing "Oh Canada" within a short time.
I have the right with my last name, Marleau, family comes from there.
