Its a joint partnership with DPMS apparently from what I can find. Smile

Although I cant find anything about the partnership online I'm pretty sure my sources are accurate. The names of the rifles were XM110 SASS so I'm assuming these are the rifles the companies bid the contract with:

The DPMS/Remington rifle LRT-SASS. www.dpmsinc.com/firear.../sass.aspx

The Armalite Rifle AR-10 Super SASS. www.armalite.com/sales...erSASS.htm

The Knights Armament Rifle. www.knightarmco.com/sass.pdf (pictures only) but be warned even if they did start selling it it would be a order you'd have to wait on for a year or 2 judging by the lead times needed for their regular SR-25 riles and the Navy/Marine Mk11 rifles.

Dallan,

I got pictures from the Shot Show where Remington unviled its own AR in 308Win! Cool

If you look closely their AR has a forward assist, which from what I can tell no other company actually offers that on the AR's that are chambered in 308Win. Visually from a distance it looks like you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the Remington AR in 308Win and a M-16 because its shares all the common features. Smile
