[b]We call them grey biggers here in Oregon. A great way to sight you rifle in before going Elk hunting.

Grey biggers? Oh...You mean grey Diggers. Ain't they a blast. When I was younger and my .357 magnum Colt SAA was also younger I use to have a blast sneakin' up on them and waiting until they stuck their heads up and pop them. Spent a lot of time on my belly in the sand and burned a lot of ammunition.
This was out in the Fort Rock area of Oregon...South east of La Pine.

They got to be so popular to hunt here in Utah that the state now has a season on when you can, and cannot shoot prarrie dogs. They felt too much hunting pressure would eliminate them completely from the state so the close the hunting of them during the spring birthing cycles.
I'm sure the farmers are pleased with the deal

There are many PD towns just north of the Montana/Sask border in the ranch land and I'm sure the ranchers would like to get rid of some they are protected cause that's all there is in Sask.
