Howdy all!

It's been a while since I have been here so I thought I would pop in just to see who's all still around. I still see pretty much the same names with a few newbies added in.

It's been a hectic couple of years for me. My hunting was cut down to virtually nothing because of what seemed like a new joint failure every other week. I ended up having both of my knees replaced last fall so I was determined I was going duck hunting this year. Man did I invest in new toys to make hunting "easier" on me. A new layout boat with longtail motor, new Maxxus II, new decoys etc. And ended up having to have another knee surgery right smack in the middle of the season. I was only down for a few days thanks to my hunting buddy.

I was blessed with my first grandson this summer so he has taken a lot of my time also. I can't wait until he's old enough to go with me.

I want to try and be more active here again. I really miss this place.

Welcome back wiersay111, it’s great to see you are still around mate. Congratulations on your grandchild mate…they are amazing and will give both you and SWMBO no end of pleasure and enjoyment…and don’t forget your new role in life mate…spoiling your grandkids.

I feel your pain with the knee replacement…I’ve had one and have no intention of ever getting the other done.

Best advice I can offer mate is hydrotherapy with an Exercise Physiologist…will ease the pain of exercise no end without reducing the benefits. I also had an ITB Release done which also helped with some pinpoint pain.

Its good to se the crusty ol' nuts are still hanging around.

Damn knee swelled up on me last night so I didn't head out duck hunting this morning. I fear my duck season is over, by the time I get my deer in the freezer everything will be froze over up here. I guess its time to put the boat and gear away and get the garage ready to butcher deer.

I've got three more mouths living with me right now so the extra meat will be welcome. It's nice having the little man here so I can spoil the heck out of him constantly.
