I was actually leaving a local gun shop when one of the guys started hanging this on the wall. Ruger PC Charger, 9x19mm, 6" barrel, take-down version. Uses the same magazines as my SR9, or can be converted to use Glock mags. I added the folding brace, linear compensator, prism sight and light. When you break it down the longest piece is about 12" long. I've gotten SO far behind shooting new stuff...

WOW...looks like something the Police or Special Forces would embrace.

Slim, actually you're probably right. Maybe I should do less buying, and more shooting! But every time I say "that's enough" somebody pops up with something cool!

He who dies last gets all of the toys.

He who dies with the most joys wins...

Trust and respect breed love, love brings joy.

Having a new gun is fun but sharing it with someone you trust and respect brings joy.

I am glad that you are enjoying your new toy! Smile

I'm trying to find a carrying case for this so I'm asking for suggestions. Broken down it is 12" long, 9.5" tall and 4" wide (with the brace folded). I've been looking for a padded sling bag or backpack. Something that doesn't look too "tactical" but that might not be possible. Any suggestions are appreciated!

When they could carry a Thompson in a violincase, maybe you can try a ukelele?

I found a couple of old laptop cases that might work, if I can figure out how to attach some Velcro straps to secure things.

Have a look at a hard camera case mate. They usually come with foam inserts that are already cut into cubes so you can remove pieces as necessary to create alcoves in the case. Only thing is these cases are not cheap.

Well done! I like a story with a happy ending. I have used old laptop cases to transport firearms and they have work very well. All the best...
